Road Apple Cruise In

On Saturday, September 25th , The Grabill
Chamber of Commerce will host its 10th
Annual Road Apple Cruise-In on Main
Street in Grabill. At last year’s Cruise-In,
there were over120 registered entries.
Registration will begin at 9:00am near the
Grabill Hardware on Main Street. Hourly
door prizes will be drawn every fifteen
minutes for anyone registered.
Trophies will be given in 8 different
categories: Classic, 1979 & Older, 1980 &
Newer, Pick-Ups, Classic Motorcycles,
1980 & Newer Motorcycles, Radical Custom
Motorcycles and Street Rods. 3 trophies
will be given in each category.  One trophy to
the Top of Show which includes all
categories.
After the awards are handed out at 3:00pm
there will be a cruise through Grabill for all
registered vehicles.
Live music from 12:00-3:00pm on Main
Street.
There will also be Flea Market and Farmers
Market at the Fudergong. 9am-4pm
Hot dogs, hamburgers and brats will be
served by the Cedar Creek Lions club as
well as Pulled pork sandwiches served by
Grabill Inn.
Anyone wanting to participate in the Cruise-
In may pick up a pre-registration form at the
Town Hall of Grabill or Grabill Hardware or
on line at www.grabill.net/events. You can
also register the day of the Cruise-In
There is a $10.00 registration fee.
Welcome bags, Road Apple Cruise-In T-
Shirts and dash plaques will be given to
the first 100  that register.

new church building. Our current church
building is for sale.
This sale will be HUGE - Furniture, church
items, electronics, fresh homemade baked
goods, household items, clothing, books,
craft items;  too much to mention everything.

Grabill Country Sales Opening

The new complex, north of the Save-A-Lot
Store, containing Grabill Country Sales will
have a ribbon cutting ceremony on August
11th at 10:00am.
The new 16,000 square foot building will
house an Amish Bakery complete with
homemade donuts, cookies, pies, mini pies,
breads and cakes. You will also be able to
order decorated cakes for special occasions.
All bakery items will be baked fresh daily. The
Deli will have deli sliced meats, cheeses and
side dishes that will also be available carry
out.They will have fish, ribs and rotisserie
chicken.
Grabill Country Sales will have a seating
area where you can have a donut and coffee,
a piece of pie with homemade hand dipped
ice cream or lunch from the Deli.
Grabill Country Sales bulk food area contains
baking supplies, dried fruits, nuts, dry soup
mixes, laundry soaps, fabric softeners and
many, many more items .There is also a
large selection of candy, fine chocolates,
hard to find old fashioned candy plus your
regular favorites. The bulk items will be pre-
packed in small and large containers and
bags to suit the customer’s needs.
Grabill Country Sales will have 18 varieties of
coffee beans that you can grind or packaged
for you and their own brand of freshly ground
peanut butter.
Grabill Country Sales will have a “Sampling
Wagon” that will have different types of food
each day to sample.
There will be complete supply of wedding
candy bars that can be purchased by the
case.
Grabill Country Sales will have 12 flavors of
HOMEMADE HAND DIPPED ice cream. You
will be able to buy it by the cone, half gallon
or gallon.
Grabill Country Sales will have a selection of
items in large quantity for churches and
organizations that can be set up on a 30 day
account. Orders may also be called in and be
ready for pick up at your convenience.
Coke, 7Up and Seyfert’s products will be
sold.
Grabill Country Sales will have a large
selection of greeting cards, party paper
supplies, over the counter drugs and
vitamins.
Cookbooks will be on sale as well as a
recipe center for new cooking ideas.
Grabill Country Sales has hired 24 people for
the new store.
Delivery service will be available.
Grabill Country Sales hours are Monday thru
Saturday 6:00am to 8:00pm. Open early so
you can stop by on your way to work for that
cup of fresh brewed coffee and a donut.
