those who have lost the battle against cancer.
Onsite fundraisers, hourly activities, food,
entertainment, survivor’s breakfast,
luminary ceremony, silent auction and much
more.
Relay for Life is for everyone not just those
walking on a team. You help to raise money
by buying food or items at the silent auction
or something from a team at their onsite
fundraiser or just come join the fun and listen
to the entertainment or join in the
activities.
Relay for Life Theme Hours
9am - Survivor hour (wear your team shirt)
10am - 70’s
11am - Jamaican me crazy (crazy hair and
funny clothes)
12noon - Flip-Flops and sunglasses (cancer
awareness)
1pm - Hawaii Five-O Vice (dress like your
favorite beach cop)
2pm - Water Fight (walkers look out,
campsites bring your water guns and water
balloons
to throw at walkers
3pm - Celebrity Look-a-Like
4pm - Hula time (wear your grass skirts,
bathing suits and leis)
5pm - Beach party (what campsite can have
the best beach party)
6pm - Reggae Time (bring your dreadlocks
and show some RASTA flavor)
7pm - USA (show your patriotism)
8pm - Pink, Pink, Pink (breast cancer
awareness)
9pm - Luminary ceremony)
10pm - Wear your underwear outside your
clothes (prostate cancer awareness)
11pm - 80’s
Midnight - scary monster hour (dress scary)
Midnight - pizza party
1am - Pajama party
2am - Camoflauge time (blend into the night)
3am - Prepare for winter (dress in your snow
outfits)
4am - Cruisin in the night (break out the big
hats and giant sunglasses)
5am - Rooster calling (favorite animal dress
up)
6am - Campsite Cleanup
7am - Campsite Cleanup
8am - All Walk
8:30am - Closing Ceremony

Road Apple Cruise In
On Saturday, September 25th , The Grabill
Chamber of Commerce will host its 10th
Annual Road Apple Cruise-In on Main Street
in Grabill. At last year’s Cruise-In, there were
over120 registered entries. Registration will
begin at 9:00am near the Grabill Hardware
on Main Street. Hourly door prizes will be
drawn every fifteen minutes for anyone
registered.
Trophies will be given in 8 different
categories: Classic, 1979 & Older, 1980 &
Newer, Pick-Ups, Classic Motorcycles, 1980
& Newer Motorcycles, Radical Custom
Motorcycles and Street Rods. 3 trophies will
be given in each category. One trophy to
the Top of Show which includes all
categories.
After the awards are handed out at 3:00pm
there will be a cruise through Grabill for all
registered vehicles.
Live music from 12:00-3:00pm on Main
Street.
There will also be Flea Market and Farmers
Market at the Fudergong. 9am-4pm
Hot dogs, hamburgers and brats will be
served by the Cedar Creek Lions club as well
as Pulled pork sandwiches served by Grabill
Inn.
Anyone wanting to participate in the Cruise-In
may pick up a pre-registration form at the
Town Hall of Grabill or Grabill Hardware or
on line at www.grabill.net/events. You can
also register the day of the Cruise-In
There is a $10.00 registration fee.
Welcome bags, Road Apple Cruise-In T-
Shirts and dash plaques will be given to the
first 100 that register.
